Song & Stillness: Taizé @ MIT
Sundays, 7:30 pm. MIT Chapel
Come catch your breath and calm your spirit at this simple evening prayer service. Using the music of the Taizé community in France, this 45-minute service includes short readings from Christian scripture, candlelight, meditative singing, and time for silence. Grounded in the contemplative Christian tradition, the service is open to all.
Return to the Chapel: September 12, 2021!
Over the summer, we experimented with a hybrid in-person/zoom format for our Taizé prayer. Starting in September, we intend to gather in person in the Chapel while we continue to offer a zoom link for our remote friends. For the first week or two, while we familiarize ourselves with MIT's guest access policies, we will zoom from the Chapel and welcome MIT Covid Pass holders in person. We will work out details of access for non-MIT guests very, very soon!
